Melvin is a member of NAR (National Association of Realtors), MAR (Massachusetts Association of Realtors), GREB (The Greater Boston Real Estate Board) and REBAC (Real Estate Buyer’s Agent Council). Melvin and his group have been working in the Greater Boston Area and suburbs since 1994. Melvin and his group teach the first time home buyer seminars for MAHA (Massachusetts Housing Alliance) where Melvin is one of the only exclusive agents who can teach their classes. Plus, he has taught the first time home buyer classes at Nuestra Comunidad Development Corporation, NeighborWorks Southern Mass (Quincy, MA), WATCH CDC (Waltham, MA), Urban Edge and Boston Home Center (First Time Home Buyer Panel).

Melvin is currently a Board of Director of The Greater Boston Association of Realtors from 2016 to 2020 and Board of Directors of the Massachusetts Association of Realtors from 2017 to 2019.
